Amelia Decker (Dir.)
Amelia is senior a junior at Mayo High School and co-director of RCI's Logistics Committee. Their community involvement and leadership extends to Student School Board, Environmental Action Committee, and Mayo Honors Society. Through their position as vice president of Mayo Student School Board, Amelia collaborates with students, administrators, and RPS school board members to create a more equitable school environment by tackling issues such as mental health resources and inclusivity. Amelia is passionate about empowering other youth to similarly take action for positive change and create enduring solutions.
Anousha Mozammel (Dir.)
Anousha Mozammel is a junior at Century High School and co-director of the RCI's Logistics Committee. Her main academic interests include heavy involvement in public speaking activities such as Speech and Debate, as well as being the Junior Class President in Student Government. Anousha enjoys youth advocacy and involvement in not only school, but also for the betterment of the Rochester community. Outside of school, she also enjoys her time on the Girls Volleyball Team and plays the piano.
Sammy Shao is a junior at Mayo High School and a member of the Logistics Committee. In school, he is a part of the soccer team, student government, Business Professionals of America, Mayo Honors Society, and Spanish Honors Society. Outside of the classroom, Sammy works at Rochester Target South, referees soccer games, plays the violin, plays the piano, plays in the Southeastern Minnesota Youth Concert Orchestra, and hangs out with friends. He is passionate about how he and others can make a positive impact on their community.
Jorja Wodziak is a senior at Mayo High School and serves on the Logistics Committee. She is deeply committed to advocacy, which is evident through her role as the founder of the non-profit organization "Youth in Law;" In addition to her advocacy work, Jorja holds the position of co-captain on Mayo High School's speech and debate teams. Furthermore, she is an accomplished figure skater and currently serves as the treasurer on the RFSC Junior Board. She is truly passionate about making a positive impact on her community and helping others.
Nora is a member of the Logistics Committee and a senior at Mayo High School. She is committed to advocating for the environment and educating people about social issues. In her free time, Nora coaches and climbs at the local climbing gym while being passionate about promoting and preserving the outdoors for younger generations. She is also involved in Environmental Action Committee and Mayo Band. She hopes to one day be an environmental journalist, writing about the issues and triumphs in the world around us.
Natalie Drake is a senior at Mayo High School. As a member of the logistics department, Natalie aims to engage with her community to help promote equity. Aside from RCI she is a captain of the debate team and cross country team at Mayo High School.
Xavier Laack is a senior at Mayo High School. His leadership experience included being Mayo Boys Soccer Captain, Rochester Nordic Ski Team Captain, and an Honor Society officer. He is passionate about nature and intends to pursue environmental law as a career.
